Gargoyles (Surgeons)
2014
Styrofoam, Acrylic laminate.
Objects were temporarily installed at a recently renovated house in Vienna (where the artist lives). According to new ecological standards the renovation includes isolation of the facade by a layer of styrofoam. Same material was used for the objects. Instead of traditional gargoyles, like at gothic cathedrals these gargoyles represent surgeons, not demons.
